A day worth remembering

At a recent FarSoft Highlights Day held at Diemersfontein, clients were treated to the very latest ViTrax developments, as well as some all-important industry talk and networking.

MD Freddie Roux kicked off the sessions by outlining the ViTrax roadmap: detailing where FarSoft finds itself after 26 years in the industry, the importance of clients and how the team tackles product development.

In a joint presentation, Ben Louw and Darrell Cloete highlighted ViTrax’s latest Android functionalities. Ever the ViTrax QC cheerleader, Mariska Cubitt recapped how FarSoft started with the brilliant blueberry QC defect test suite on mobile in 2020 and now is celebrating the fact that most of the ViTrax desktop QC tests are available on Android. She also announced added functionality to the mobile QC, as well as the expansion of QC for grapes.

Clients were enthralled to learn about FarSoft’s latest breakthrough from director Gerhard Nel. He explained that the added features to ViTrax CF’s packing material module kept track of packing material stock levels at all stages of the packing process.

Before settling down to some serious socialising, Ernst du Toit gave the lowdown on self-service reporting with its must-have benefits of flexibility, speed, efficiency of managers, quick decisions, accessibility and one version of the truth.
