ViTrax is blazing an Android trail
The uptake of ViTrax Android modules among FarSoft’s clients has been a success story of note. And the FarSoft developers behind this feat are on a roll – literally. Best of all Daniël Roux, Ben Louw and Lyle February have even more modules up their sleeves.
Said FarSoft’s Ben Louw, “From proof of concept to industry-proofed app, ViTrax mobile has grown in leaps and bounds in the span of a few years. All to significant benefit of every single client.”
Currently, the active modules on ViTrax Android Mobile are:
- Quality control
- Bin/lug verification
- Pallet registration
- Pallet weighing
- Pre-sorter rebins
- Pallet spot movement
- Bin spot movement
- Pallet build-up
- Registering pre-cooler lug pallets
- Bin tipping
Chiltern’s Jan Kotze is thrilled with the results thus far. He said, “We’ve seen a substantial reduction in pallet registration errors. That alone has made it so worth it as far as I’m concerned. The fact that no visual EAN code appears on the box-end label if there’s no GTIN helps to ensure that we always use the correct combination when packing. In short: it’s dynamic!”
