Parmilee Koen of Elgin Orchards is the 2010 ViTrax Operator of the Year. Well done Parmilee!

About 400 people countrywide physically work on ViTrax at some time during the year. So, winning operator of the year is no mean feat. Said Koen, “I really didn’t expect this award. But the excellent relationship we have with Farsoft and the fact that they go the extra mile have contributed to my skill as an operator.”

Freddie Roux explained the criteria for selecting Operator of the Year, “The-award goes to the person who we find doesn’t cause more support for his company, but plays an active role in seeking less support; is a self-helper; mostly asks a quick question, gets half an answer, grasps, and then continues on his own.

“Parmilee fits these criteria more than any other operator among the ±350 we had last year.”
