When Bella Frutta signed up for FarSoft’s Boxtac system in 2022, little did they know just how much the system would transform the daily grind while packing. “It’s only since it was fully implemented in March this year that we realised how it has revolutionised our pallet accuracy,” said quality manager Andrea Viviers.

“And the traceability factor is a huge plus!” She detailed how they were able to solve a complaint regarding a particular carton in a jiffy by tracking the QR code to the count, date and time of the particular pallet consignment.

Andrea said that after implementing Boxtac, they saw immediately how easily mistakes used to occur with the wrong count, wrong box label or the wrong class. “This early warning system when the wrong grade or size of fruit is packed on a particular pallet is wonderful. Everyone in the packhouse has a spring in their step since the arrival of Boxtac.”
