With its new generic consignment sale importer tool, FarSoft has put paid to the costly and time-consuming business of clients having to use exporter-specific files.

Amber Swart from FarSoft’s Business Intelligence team explained, “Clients can now fill in their own values from their exporters’ files and then access income and cost from the same file.” She said the application had already been rolled out at Verdun Estate.

According to Verdun’s Georgie Hewitt, the ViTrax consignment sale importer has made their lives in the packhouses infinitely easier during the past two seasons of use. “We can input income and direct costs applicable to each pallet. Consequently, not only have we eliminated duplication, but also inadvertent errors. And I must say, support from the FarSoft team has been wonderful.”
