A champion!

Novo Pack House’s Shirley Williams is the 2014 ViTrax Operator of the Year. Congratulations Shirley!

Farsoft signed Paarl-based Novo Packhouse in late 2013. MD Freddie Roux explained, “When the first few implementation discussions were held, we were surprised immediately – and relieved – by the staff’s willingness, but especially with Shirley’s enthusiasm and positive attitude in wanting to make things work. A further surprise was when we discovered that she also had a very good understanding of EDI file content, which is quite a technical skill. This makes for an extremely able and informed system supervisor.

“Shirley has a wide spectrum of skills – precisely the spread of abilities one finds in a good system champion. Among these are: good people skills, first-class industry knowledge, technically savvy and knows what good system practices are.”

Shirley said receiving the award was “a wow moment” for her. “I really didn’t expect this. Working on ViTrax is an absolute pleasure: the system is very advanced, the team is amazing and the support outstanding.” Asked what motivated her, Shirley replied, “I enjoy challenges and always take ownership of whatever I do.”
