Multi-talented Colin Galpin was originally headhunted by Farsoft to do mainly technical work. However, he excelled in support and as such is now support manager. MD Freddie Roux was impressed with Colin’s skills. “He learnt the ropes extremely quickly and apart from knowing our system well, he understands clients’ needs even better. His telephonic and people skills are truly exceptional – no matter the client’s culture.”
Starting as an IT professional in Upington in 2004, Colin has been with Farsoft for the past two years. He describes his vision for Farsoft support as, “Building on a really good system and keeping our good reputation going.” What he enjoys most about the work are the clients. “I love the human factor.”
When not working (which, by the way is 15 hours a day), Colin said he was the typical computer geek, playing computer games and watching videos.
